Product Description
The Transfer30 is our most popular standard size wheelchair accessible walk-in bathtub measuring 30” wide and 52” long, and it’s recommended for average sized bathers.
With a wide L shaped barrier-free sidewall design, bathers can easily transfer from the wheelchair into the comfortable 22” wide molded seat. This model is also very popular amongst non-wheelchair users who are seeking effortless slide-in access into the seat. The large 36” L shape outward swing door is made out of a light aluminum frame and a white acrylic cover that elegantly matches the glossy acrylic finish of the tub.Note: Bather’s height shown in the product images is 5’7″ (female) and 5’9″ (male).

Product Specification
The Transfer30 is the perfect solution for anyone in need of a safety tub that offers convenience, comfort, handicapped accessibility, and functionality. Customers consider the L shape door over the U shape door because navigating within the walk-in tub is more comfortable and spacious when the door swings out. However, if objects in your bathroom prohibit you from opening an outswing door, please consider an inward swing walk-in tub.
The walk-in tub shell of the Transfer30 is constructed with premium acrylic in a white glossy finish, supported by a stainless-steel frame with adjustable leveling legs, and reinforced with fiberglass gel coat layers. The nonporous acrylic surface is easy to clean and impermeable to mold and mildew. A textured floor, low step-in threshold, one deck and one wall mounted U-shape stainless steel grabs in a chrome finish, enhance your safety and allow quick and safe entry and exit in and out of the tub.
This standard walk-in tub measures at 30”W x 52”L and has a comfortable 22” wide seat. The Transfer30’s main feature is the door which is made from aluminum L-Shape Outward Swing Door The door is 36” wide, and swings outward from the tub to allow the bathers to comfortably enter and exit the tub. The door’s distinct L-shape and the engineering of the outward swing allows the door to clear a 21” tall toilet and create a wide entry for an easy transition from wheelchair into a smooth acrylic seat. The sleek rubber handle mounted on the inside panel of the door aids in closing the door. The outswing door is equipped with a unique gear and shaft driven, 2-latch door lock system concealed with an acrylic decorative cover. The 2-latch system creates a more secure and watertight door seal, edging out our competition who typically use a single latch/lever system.
Product Features
- Dual Drain Technology, consisting of two independent 2” gravity driven drains with four 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 drain openers, allowing for a fast and reliable drainage.
- 2 caps are also included to cover up to 2 of 4 ports if needed.
- The 2” drain outlets can be connected to the standard 1 ½” house drain with a T or Y fitting and piping provided by a professional plumber.
- It is suggested to connect all 4 outlets to the house drain for the fastest drainage possible.
- Typical drainage time is approximately +/- 80 seconds for this standard size tub within ideal in-home plumbing conditions.
- Ella gravity driven dual drains are fast and reliable because they do not require an electric pump, whereas electrical driven drains may fail due to electrical shorts or power outages.
- This model also includes one reversible end panel for left or right corner installation options and one extension panel kit for 60” alcove installations.
- These panels cover the ends of the tub to give your walk-in tub a completed look.
- Additional panels can be ordered in the case your tub will be installed to the wall as free standing.
Therapy & Jetting
Hydro + Air Massage System
The Transfer30 walk-in tub has seventeen (17) strategically placed air jets in order to deliver rejuvenating therapeutic relief. Eleven (11) upper, fixed flat jets work to provide relief to your back, hips and thighs, while an additional six (6) jets located in the lower foot area deliver a gentle massage to your feet and calves. Additionally, two (2) of the eleven (11) upper jets are bidet jets.
The air massage system includes an air pump with a 3-speed variable push control, strategically positioned air jets for optimal therapeutic relief, and auto-purge to maintain an air system free of any build ups.
Ella’s Air Jet System includes an Auto Purge System. It automatically activates 20 minutes after completing your bath in order to blow out any excess water and bacteria from the air jet lines. Auto-purge will run for 120 seconds to ensure your system is clear and free of moisture and excess water helping to prevent mildew build up.
Wheelchair accessible walk-tubs offer easy access, full-size, outward swinging doors and slide-in seating to make bathing easier for those with mobility issues. With full seat access from the exterior, these tubs were specially designed to accommodate wheelchair users and individuals with special needs.
Ella Gravity Driven 2″ Dual Drain Technology
The best fast drain in industry – no power required! Ella gravity driven 2″ dual drain technology with independently operated 2 openers, 2 overflows for fast and reliable drainage and exit out of the walk-in tub. This drain can be connected to 4 x 2 inch outlets vs. one 1 1/2″ standard bathtub drain.
Ella 2-Latch L-Shape Out-Swing Door
Our aluminum frame outward swing L-shaped door is equipped with our unique gear and shaft driven 2-latch door edges out our competition who typically use a single latch/lever system. A 2-latch door system provides a more secure and watertight door seal than the conventional single latch system, providing you with a leak-free bathing experience.
